Elixir's HubSpot CMS Hub Transformation: From WordPress to Unified Marketing
- Industry: HubSpot solution partner
- Size of the company: Medium-sized company (35+ employees)
- Services: CMS Hub Enterprise Implementation

Summary
We migrated our digital presence from WordPress to HubSpot CMS Hub Enterprise and created a unified marketing approach with a modern brand identity. Now we have integrated content management, optimized workflows and consistent branding across all touchpoints and can demonstrate the unified HubSpot approach we represent for our clients.
The challenge
Helping customers scale while we hold back ourselves
Time-consuming maintenance
We had to constantly update our website and plug-ins, which could break our website. This maintenance was taking up valuable time that we should have been spending on the success of our customers and the growth of our business.
Fragmented marketing activities
We were managing all of our marketing activities in HubSpot, while our website was run separately in WordPress. This created operational silos that contradicted the integrated approach we recommended to our clients.
Outdated brand identity
Our existing branding and website design did not reflect our advanced technical capabilities or our position as a leading digital business engineer in the European market.
Our systems must meet our standards
We needed more than just a platform change; we needed a complete digital transformation:
- Demonstrate our HubSpot expertise through our implementation
- Eliminate the maintenance burden while improving functionality
- Create a seamless integration between all marketing activities
- Create a modern brand identity that reflects our technical leadership
Our complete conversion to HubSpot CMS Hub Enterprise
1. strategic rebranding initiative
We partnered with a specialist branding agency to completely redesign our visual identity. They designed our new logo, a new visual language with animations and patterns, and provided sample templates for our new website that reflect our expertise as digital business engineers.
2nd CMS Hub Enterprise setup
After HubSpot released new features in May 2020 and the CMS became "CMS Hub", we decided to build our website on CMS Hub Enterprise. Our approach was to start from an existing theme and build new modules and templates on top of it.
3. content creation and development
We started creating our website and landing pages using the new drag-and-drop editor in CMS Hub. This functionality made the creation of our pages simple and efficient, allowing us to focus on the quality of the content rather than the technical complexity.
4. brand integration in HubSpot
When we went live on September 21, 2020, we adjusted the default branding settings in HubSpot and changed our logo and colors in the general settings to ensure consistency across all our marketing activities.
5 Navigation and website structure
We created a comprehensive navigation for our footer and menu, allowing easy access to key pages such as jobs, contact and blog. The navigation in our footer was created as global content to make it easier to manage.
6. complete redesign of the marketing assets
We adapted all existing landing pages, email templates and blog content to reflect our new branding. This included creating multiple email template variations to ensure a consistent visual identity across all customer communications.
Most important results
By switching to CMS Hub Enterprise, we have eliminated platform fragmentation while creating a modern digital presence that authentically represents our capabilities. We now work entirely within the HubSpot ecosystem, managing our website, marketing campaigns and customer communications through a single platform that exemplifies the integrated approach we recommend to our clients.
