Your mission:
As a Junior Java Developer, you will join our Product Development Team to extend and improve the ElixirSync platform. You’ll work in a modern cloud environment, collaborating with experienced developers and reporting directly to our Development Team lead.
Some of the frameworks you'll be working on: MongoDB, JavaScript/React, Spring/Spring Boot Framework, software development tools (Git, Postman, Maven/Gradle), Web services (REST/ODATA), API Integrations, Docker, Apache Camel, and cloud environments.
We will introduce you to our platform and gradually count on your input to make it even better!
Your key responsibilities include:
- Write high-performance code for new and existing applications
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop interfaces and API integrations
- Collaborate with peers, share knowledge, and continuously improve your skills
- Test and debug code, ensuring quality and performance
- Review code from colleagues and provide constructive feedback
- Help train junior developers as you grow

The profile we are looking for:
- You have a degree in computer science or similar, with a strong interest in digital technologies
- You have a strong self-supporting attitude and 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Good working knowledge of English. Knowledge in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- A team player with cross-functional collaboration skills who can adapt to a changing market and organizational needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a dynamic and high-pressure environment
